"A lifelong dream to visit Africa came to fruition this summer. Ever since I was a young child, I always wanted to visit Africa and go on an African Safari. The determination to go to Africa was strong but the logistics of booking such a trip on my own was a daunting endeavour.

In June 2024, six of us embarked on the most wonderful experience ever, with the help of Adam from Maple Rhino and his wonderful team. They organized everything, were always there to navigate us along the way, and to make sure that we were safe, and properly taken care of.

The trip was truly amazing, and we visited so many wonderful places. We experienced museums, open markets, delightful restaurants (with the most fabulous food), the Sheldrike Wildlife Trust, the Giraffe Sanctuary, the Kenya National Reserve, Diani beach, a bead factory, and the best part of the trip by far the Masai Mara Safari, where we saw so many animals and beautiful birds up close and personal. All of our accommodations were stunningly beautiful, with their own secret gardens. The landscape was lush, and so colourful.

The thing that made the trip the best ever, was the people. They were the kindest, most accommodating people I have ever met.

Every single day, we had a different adventure, and every adventure was incredible. I took approximately 2000 pictures as I wanted to be able to remember every single moment of our trip. I would go back in a heartbeat, with the support of the Maple Rhino team, who made our trip the trip of a lifetime."
